The Silent Pavilion
Concept
Geometric Solitude. The initial sketches focused on the interplay between light and shadow within a restricted footprint. The triangular motif emerged as a solution to direct views upwards towards the sky.
Design
Material Honesty. Refining the palette to three core materials: exposed concrete, natural white oak, and blackened steel. A tactile experience changing with the daylight.
Construction
Structural Precision. The challenge of pouring the cantilevered concrete roof required custom formwork and close collaboration with local artisans.
Completion
A Sanctuary in Stone. The Silent Pavilion stands as a testament to reduction. By stripping away the unnecessary, we revealed the essential beauty of space and light.
